Twelve years ago, a group of struggling actors accepted roles a film called The Room. We knew it wouldn’t win any awards. But we had no idea that it would eventually be known as “the Citizen Kane of bad movies,” or that it would become a global cult hit. But when the world is laughing at you, what do you do?

You laugh right along with them. Otherwise, you find yourself crying into your wine late at night. And nobody wants that.

That’s why we’ve come together to make a new web series called, “The Room Actors: Where Are They Now? (TRAWATN)” This project takes a tongue-in-cheek, satirical look at how The Room actors’ lives have changed since appearing in best worst movie ever made. It is fun and silly and chock full of jokes only YOU as die-hard Roomies will get. (But it will also includes lots of laughs for those of you who have never seen The Room.)

TRAWATN wrapped post-production in July 2016, had its World Premiere at the Raindance Film Festival in October 2016, its US premiere at the ITVFest in October 2016 and screened in November 2016 at the Chicago Comedy Film Festival where Robyn Paris won the best director of a pilot award.  TRAWATN is nominated for Best Comedy at the Vancouver Web Fest taking place in March 2017 and is an official selection for the 2017 Miami Web Fest.
